what about a draw then both of them have dropped two points :-)

Is that any good to us ?

Nope because we'd be three points behind Arsenal and they had a far greater goal difference!

Well i cant cheer for the scum so i am asking for the draw then going to cheer for stoke villa and fulham in the last three games of the season

Job done

It is the right result for us to want, however, I'm really sorry, I just cannot bring myself to say those words or cheers those bastards on.

I still hope united lose and we finish above the arse.

Just cannot ever bring myself to want a rag win.

Exactly. We can't influence what United will or will not achieve, so I don't really care what they win. Just a small point though re. your last line. Some of us can't easily get down to COMS to watch City. At least one of the posters you quoted lives overseas, as do I.

The greatest-ever of ironies..in a thread entitled 'C'mon Utd!'

And I hate United as much as I love City. Something that becomes part of your DNA make-up if you follow City for more than those who pat themselves on the back for being in the 'dark days' in late 90s.

Do me a favour, the dark days were fast and plentiful, from 1981 onwards.

C'mon Arsenal!

Nonsense.

Been taken/going to City since 1978.

I do hate the rags, mainly due to the arrogance of fans and club alike. However, it comes nowhere near my love for City.

I want it ALL
City win FA Cup Final and finish in third or better and Utd end the season with nowt...that'd be the cherry on top. Driving to the game today I cannot imagine myself going 'get in' if Utd score...It will be involuntary if Arsenal do though ;)

Absolutely not. If United lose to Arsenal and Chelsea, there is a good chance they will win nothing this season. We should qualify for the CL regardless of their results.
City to win the cup and qualify, United to finish empty-handed is the best possible outcome for me.

Me too. Arsenal still have some tricky games even if the win today.

Best possible outcome is Arsenal win today and then lose or draw the rest, and that's what I want to happen. The prospect of us perhaps getting silverware this season and United throwing it all away and getting nothing is just too appealing to ignore.

Fucking hell, with the changes in our club over the last couple of years I surprised how many still have the smalltime attitude.

You know you could have your cake and eat it too. Arsenal may game raise today (I hope) but they're not going to win all their games from now to the end.

I'm pretty zen about this. Rags win and we have a better chance to go immediately to the CL group stage instead of qualifying. Would make even more of a difference in our summer acquisitions. Rags lose and they might win absolutely nothing this season.

I like this.
