Know what you mean…I don’t think pep sees them as any real threat and as a result beating them doesn’t mean anything to him……

I am sure I read somewhere that Pep has already ruled out playing many of the players that played in the later stages of the Euros? I can sort of understand why but given that it’s them fuckers it will be disappointing to throw away another Community Shield again.

The pre season squad them turds have isn’t great. Plus they got a couple of injuries.

Think the CS is one Haaland will want to bag as well.

This will be mostly the kids from the pre season with a sprinkling of those who have just arrived back.
Nothing for them to brag about when they field their full 11 and scrape past us by a goal.
I can't get excited about the CS to be honest, apart from it being City of course. Having said that, no doubt I'll be screaming at that TV after we kick off.

Well we’ve only ever won it twice at Wembley, so I wouldn’t be too hard on yourself.

About time we won another one. It would be great for morale if a team of our youngsters wiped the floor with United as a curtain-raiser for the season. In some ways it is a free hit for people like McAtee, Bobb, and Michah Hamilton who are all likely to play. Pep will be up for it. Bring it on.

I live in SE Kent but why would I want to pay Wembley prices to watch two uncooked teams play ? I'll save my money for the derby !

You’ll struggle to pay less for any home game than the Wembley prices for this game.

It will be great. No such thing as a friendly Derby match. The prices are dirt cheap. The Community Shield has been played at Wembley for decades and only the best teams get to play in it.

£72 each £20 petrol £6 parking. Purchase a 2 for 1 railcard for £30 then train will be £48 each.
