Wanted to check some numbers …
So visits to wembley since 2010 (incl this game, excl spurs league games):
City 24 (38% of all games)
Chelsea 20 (31%)
Arsenal 15 (23%)
United 14 (22%)
Liverpool 10 (16%)
Others 45 (max Spurs with 5 visits)
Visits to wembley since 2016 (ie since Pep):
City 16 (46% of all games)
Chelsea 14 (40%)
Arsenal 8 (23%)
United 8 (23%)
Liverpool 5 (14%)
Others 19 (max Leicester with 4 visits)
Chelsea been almost as many times as us, but its 30 mins and £5 return on the tube.
They won 5/5 fa cup semis so they are at max. We lost 4/6 of ours so we could have been as high as 20 (57% of games).
16 games. Twice as many as United and three times as many as Liverpool where people have to travel.
Even if it wasnt at a stupid time I’d still be struggling for motivation to go to this game given what it is and when it is given the volume of other previous visits and likely future visits.
Its just not *that* interesting anymore. I dont like travelling there and back, I hate the extortionate cost of food and drinks, I hate that tickets tend to cost a fortune etc etc.
