Any news on the coach travel yet?
I emailed supporter services on Friday ref the coach tickets for the journey to the King Power Stadium.
I've had a reply from them this morning, and it said that the confirmation email that they sent when the coach travel was purchased will need to be shown to get on the coaches.
No paper tickets will be issued.

Cheers. It won't matter that the name that the ticket was purchased under isn't the person travelling (its a male on a females name)?

You can only assume it’s going to be similar to the coaches to Wembley last year. And on that occasion, a cursory glance at people’s phone was the extent of the checking. I’m pretty sure plenty of people were just piling on without even that to be honest.

Although with those being free and these paid for, I don’t suppose you can rule out them being a little more attentive.

I certainly can’t imagine for a minute they’ll be checking names though.

Just a reminder for boozers this weekend. I've been recommended 3 decent boozers. The Globe and the Rutland and Derby Arms which are close to each other in the City Centre. Another one is the Bowling Green which is en route to the ground not far from the centre. I've been told its a 25 minute walk to the ground from the centre and you can walk straight down the River Path to the ground .
If anyone is staying in the Holiday Inn in the City Centre all 3 boozers are in close proximity

I'm expecting the police to come up with a list of pubs for both sets of fans. They'll still be a mix of fans in some pubs unless they're strict on colours.
I'll be a bit surprised if it's a case of drink where you want for both sets of fans, but we'll see.

When do the city coach details get released? Also can you take beer onto the coaches? Only ever used supporter club coaches before you see

The Rutland looks good, rooftop terrace & a beer garden as well! Also, according to their website, they've got a sausage and cider festival on this weekend. What could be better...a bit of sausage in the open air!

Must learn to think before I type!
