About 1k to the majority of the pubs from the station and 2k to ground. Soar Point looking the best bet, a lot closer.

Apres Lounge and Cafe Bruxelles have an adjoining beer garden out the back I remember which is pretty decent

It’s going to be absolute bedlam 30k Mancs & Scousers on an away day at a small place and apparently there is another major event at a local park near the centre.
Either that or it’ll be a great day out. Everyone I know is looking forward to this more than if it were at Wembley and more than if we were playing anyone else bar United.

Just a reminder for boozers this weekend. I've been recommended 3 decent boozers. The Globe and the Rutland and Derby Arms which are close to each other in the City Centre. Another one is the Bowling Green which is en route to the ground not far from the centre. I've been told its a 25 minute walk to the ground from the centre and you can walk straight down the River Path to the ground .
If anyone is staying in the Holiday Inn in the City Centre all 3 boozers are in close proximity
Here's a map showing the locations of all these pubs (both us and the dippers)....

The Globe & The Rutland aren't on the official list of either club, so may not let people in in replica kits....

Has anyone had coach details yet?

They leave in a shade over 72 hours from the Etihad. How many / whether there are enough / what you need to show to get on ‘em / whether you can bring any drink / whether there are any scheduled meet-ups with our cousins from west of the M6 at motorway service stations en route - zilch.

We were 2-0 down to Villa with 14 minutes to go, and that turned out ok. Not at all worried. :|

All city coaches are no alcohol unfortunately. That's the only one I can help with lol

We're thinking of going to Aylestone just south of Leicester City Centre before the game.
Anyone else heading there, and if so any recommendations for pubs etc?

Anyone who’s driving found anywhere to park with advance booking?
Go on line, Parking for community- shield-sat-30th July, the FA have put out details, the coaches are parking near the University, also near the pubs which have been allocated, and advise that City park north of stadium and that lot south of stadium, at the gas works. I booked on carpark d, filbert street, £20.
