I won't be going. I find the whole Wembley experience nausaeating. Overpriced tickets, overpriced food & drink and awful surroundings. On top of that, we have to put up with the base elements of our "support" behaving at its very worst, as covered in any previous Wembley post-match threads.

Having said that, I am happy for City to continue to qualify for Wembley matches as the money I make on selling my Cup Final tickets pays for my Value Gold ST which means I basically watch the might Blues for free!

Can never understand people like you. I have gone through 35 years of never seeing City at Wembley (apart from the play off final) and would have given my right arm for days like this then. You moan about the behaviour of our base support, and then rip them off by selling them your wembley ticket at inflated prices? You sir, are a tosser!!

To some of us Wembley is nothing but an FA cash cow and not some mythical place of magic.

I've enjoyed our visits for the big games purely for the games and not the arena. I'm not paying money (plus travel and spends) to pay off the FA's debts watching a meaningless friendly.

This shit about it food/drink being overpriced-there's a MacDonalds 2 minutes away, go there first-I'm sure a burger or 2 (in Bimbobobs case) can keep you going for the 2 hours or so in the ground or make butties for the journey-you don't need to eat in the stadium. Beer is no more expensive than any other ground and is still shite.

Where will the best places be to park near or around the stadium?
Depends what time you arrive but I'd say Stanmore station <a class="postlink" href="http://www.londondrum.com/transport/trains.php?station=stanmore" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.londondrum.com/transport/tra ... n=stanmore</a> (4 stops on Jubilee line) but it will fill quite early

You need to look on the internet for official Wembley parking places and pay in advance, otherwise I doubt you'll find anywhere on the day!

In the past I've parked at Cockfosters Tube station and jumped on the underground when going to London games, but this is right in Arsenal territory so might not be the smartest idea for this game in particular.

Watford Junction has a couple of tube stops as well, but never parked there.

That's not the case at all, with GA (General Admittance) they barely break even-Club Wembley is what Wembley PLC rely on-10-15K over 10 years (locked contract), guarantees all major FA games BUT only early bird tickets (they have to pay) for England, concerts and other events. Club Wembley is 75% of their revenue !!!
I should add that renewals are coming up for 2017-surprisingly most are saying "fuck that"

tbh i dont give 2 shits about the FA cash cow, im there for our team and a great day out. aeotd its a business like our club, they have to make money to survive, and £35 a ticket is a decent price tbh i maybe be high up, but we pay £50 plus sometimes on away games. and we dont moan about that, well we do, but we pay and support us
