It's been announced recently here in the USA - I live in Washington State - that COVID-19 vaccination is open to all people above the age of (I think?) 18.
Great! - I think - I'll get vaccinated.
But what transpired?
I went though website after website seeking to get a vaccination appointment - only to be met with website errors, or with statements to the effect that the vaccination isn't, after all, available - at Safeway or Walgreens or Costco near me.
Finally I hit a link with some promise - some sort of local government response.
Next - I had to spend roughly 10 minutes - no kidding - filling out a website questionnaire - simply to become eligible for an email in the event that a vaccination appointment was available to me.
The questionnaire asked me for my exact age - fair enough - but irrelevant as I'm over 18 - and then later on asked me for my date of birth? WTF?
Too, the website asked for my exact address. Why is this important? Beats me? Trying to prevent out-of-staters from getting the vaccine? Whatever.
Later on, this same questionnaire asks me what county I reside in? Really? I already provided my exact address - why do they then need to question what county I reside in?

If the US government is doing its best to roll out vaccinations as rapidly as possible to everyone who is eligible - then the experience I've gone through simply to be put on a list for a possible future vaccination appointment - is proof positive - that the roll-out is screwed up. Enormously so.
