The messaging from this Government is shite , Hancock telling people it’s going to be a great British summer and he’s going to Cornwall , Shapps saying the complete opposite, Johnson not long ago telling the nation that by spring/ Easter things will be getting some kind of normality. They will lose the co operation of the majority of the public very soon if they are not careful. Come spring and the first days of decent weather people will be out and about and won’t give a fuck what any authority figure says .
Yes this has been my main beef for several weeks.
I have found the statements from Shapps, Hancock and Johnson misleading and inconsistent in tone. More to the point completely irresponsible at times.
Surely they should be giving people more hope now that the vaccination process is doing well?
They are losing the public support.

It drags me down daily

hows about the carrot instead of the stick

South East up 66 to 1402

South West down 140 to 625

Little change here but mostly up

Midlands

East up 200 to 1254

West up 464 to 1838

Up here by most regionally.

North

North East down 125 to 586

Yorkshire up 297 to 1382

And

North West down 13 to 1876 - as you can see still the most infected in England but only by 38 from West Midlands today - but every southern region including London now consistently less than the NW.

Yes its horrific, people are struggling.
I am.
My young children are.
My lad at uni is
My mrs is a teacher and doing 12 hours a day at home (when not in sch) as its so much more difficult not doing normal teaching, shes struggling.

i know we have this battle on our hands and im in no way belittling that but personally speaking i need the “road map to recovery” spelling out. I need to know that if we do ‘this’, ‘this’ will happen

im not buying into ‘everyday is a step closer’ when no body actually knows when that day is!! It just doesnt seem to be getting closer

Greater Manchester Summary

All 13 of that NW fall was taken by Greater Manchester by chance - which fell by exactly that to 723.

This helped reduce the % of the NW total by 0.4% to 38.5%

For the first time in some weeks every borough bar Manchester was below 100.

Manchester was the only serious riser - up 34 to 164. Many others fell either day to day or week to week or both by small amounts.

Trafford once again the star performer.

All in all a good day for GM.

A lot of people really struggling. Are they still taking about a road map out on the 15th?
