113 deaths..RIP
RIP indeed.
Curiously enough though, pretty much the average number of daily deaths in the peak Flu months (Jan-Mar) of an average Flu season.
I wonder if the split is still 40% unvaccinated, 17% single jabbed and 43% double jabbed? No figures since the end if June on this.

Various days throughout the week, my little one only went back today. Definitely not a school cause. Nightclubs, football, something else maybe?
I suspect it’s places that have kept cases very low throughout the pandemic opening up and travel in and out of those areas by the residents and many tourists ( can’t move for tourists)
My area has had low cases thoughtout, now loads of people I know have it including my wife and my son just over it. Think the virus has found pockets of new territory, and is travelling.
Good thing is all those I know with it, vaccinated, have a sore head and blocked nasal passages for about 3 or 4 days or so then are clear after about 5.

Figures would be helpful

It's definitely starting to rise exponentially again.

On a personal level I have three close family members who've all tested positive this week (3 different households).

Worst case scenario leading into Autumn.

When are the 14-17 year olds getting the vaccine - does it start on Monday?
16/17 year olds have been getting it for over a week. Can’t use the national booking system (unless they’re 17 and 3/4, in which case they can)..
Only option for 16/17 is at the GP surgery or at a walk in centre.

Clicking on the following link and typing in your postcode SHOULD give your nearest walk-in centre(s), when they open and who they cater for.

Failing that, look on your CCG website and they should have an up to date list of walk in centres.

It would be really helpful if anti viral treatments start to come online asap

Thanks for that helpful reply - appreciated

35,000 infections a day with 95% antibody rate. You've got a month max to make some decisions
