It's utterly hopeless. My arm is still painful when I move it in certain directions and at times throbs. Thankfully I can use it for everyday activities. I'm due the second jab in a couple of weeks and have serious doubts whether to go ahead.
It wasn’t long ago we didn’t have a choice and didn’t know how long we were going to be in lockdowns before a vaccine could help, man up, mine is due the same time as yours I will definitely be having mine 7 deaths out of 20 million vaccines says you will be fine

Yes Zenica. I got mine on the 21st January and like you it's sore if I lie on that side. It occasionally throbs and mobility is limited and painful when I move it in certain directions.
as I said only sore if I lie on it but definitely doesn’t seem to have full strength in that arm but apart from that nothing else,oh only tiredness for a couple of days after jab or feeling lethargic..

Does it though? I'm having it in the same arm as I don't want to risk fucking the other arm up as well. Ten weeks in it hasn't improved yet.

As i understand it lots if everyday drugs have an associated risk of side effects including an increased risk of blood clots these include Asprin and Ibrobrufen. People need to get a grip and take the vaccines. The risk of dying from Covid is significantly greater. I wonder if those countries that have banned the AZ vaccine have fully explained this to their people. I doubt it somehow.
Exactly. The messaging needs to be clearer. I've no issue with them identifying an issue with a certain demographic but explain that any risks only really apply to that demographic and as such a different vaccine is recommended for that group, but for everybody else the vaccine is still considered safe. That would go a long way towards stopping the press jumping all over it and scaremongering so many people into thinking it's not safe for anybody.

Lovely choice of words man up ffs,he’s concerned about the jab..

Wales vaccination update:

1, 493, 192 first doses given - 2820 yesterday -was 7171 day before & 12, 960 last week

469, 251 second doses given - 1468 yesterday - was 1565 day before & 7154 last week

Very low numbers yesterday as you can see.

And if this is for 2 days then even worse.

We have 3-4 vaccines now though. If one carries a minor risk, control distribution to reduce risk. This feels normal with regards to medicine.
But only if there is enough, clearly there isnt, so controlling dustribution as you put it, or not giving people the vaccine when their isnt an alternative available and risk letting them catch covid instead is just plain stupid.

We have had 30 cases and 7 deaths out of 18million doses. That is 1 death in every 2.6 million people. And the regulators still cant say its associated with the vaccine as these people may have had these clots due to covid.

Lets just put that into perspective a study was done last year by where they tracked 17million people in the UK in three months nearly 11,000 of those people had died from covid.

So even if there is a risk its 7 vs 11000. You dont have to be a mathematician to deduce the better odds. And yet Germany and others have decided to outlaw the AZ vaccine for some groups. Its simply a mind numbingly stupid decision which will result in more covid deaths as they dont have an available alternative.

First batch of Moderna in Scotland. They have due 1 million of the 17 million on order for UK but they will come slowly over coming months not weeks. Nicola Sturgeon just now. Will not make much difference to the April supply issues.
