Thing is, by the time we realise deaths and ICU numbers are an issue, it is far too late.

The idea that a few 18-30 year olds not being vacinated is causing mass icu admissions and deaths is laughable. Considering the spread of infections at the moment.

The vaccine passport idea is a hollow threat. How could Johnson insist on someone having to show proof of vaccination to enter a nightclub after that same person has just spent the last three hours in a crowded pub where no such proof was required? Tough talk today but too tough to enforce tomorrow.

No it’s not, it may not be many 18 -30 in icu, some though, there is a fair chance though that those young people not getting vaccinated come from families with other non vaccinated members. There is a fair chance those young people are catching it and taking it home to those un vaccinated older people that do end up in icu.

The rate of testing has to be a factor. The UK is currently testing more than most of Europe put together I think?

Who cares?
An unvaccinated 18-30 infects an unvaccinated 30+ person. That’s their look out.
