simplest way to put this. If everyone gets vaccinated before an immunity skipping variant appears we have a good chance to killing COVID outright. Properly consign it to the history books ala small pox.

by not vaccinating yourself you are directly contributing to the continuation of this virus.
Show us the evidence that every single person in the uk needs to be vaccinated to stop a variant.

secondly, tell us how and when every person in the world will be vaccinated.

third, I am not anti-vax. I believe it works unlike some.

Why are people getting excited about infection rates?
Surely the main thing is death rates. As restrictions are lifted, it is obvious that they will rise.
But as proven, restrictions just put infections/deaths off for a different date. The data is showing that deaths are much lower per infection than before vaccines.

The hospitals are filling with people who are still needing treatment, but much less are actually dying.
The majority are people who are unvaccinated. Or people less likely to die in the first place.

We are now entering a phase were it is anti vaxxers that will be getting it more than most and some dying from it. Either way it sorts that problem as they are either virus vaccinated or dead. Not being unkind as this is their personal choice remember.

Higher infection rates lead to greater variants.

More people in hospitals means less staff dealing with people with other illnesses.

You’d need the figure for single vaccinated to do that calculation? The 60% figure was for fully vaccinated I thought I heard?

The point is more to demonstrate how a 66% hospitalisation rate for vaccinated people is not necessarily a worrying thing. If out of a 1000 people, all fully vaccinated, you have 10 people hospitalised, then a 100% of people hospitalised would be vaccinated. You need the raw data to make an informed judgement, not just the headline figure.

In any event, it turns out they gave duff info, so this has been a colossal waste of time anyway :)
