Well, it finally got me. We went back to the office last week and then I was diagnosed by Friday. I have had mercifully relatively mild symptoms, although it's still taken me out of action for work.
Is that right? Only yesterday I was reading his the AZ vaccine could provide protection for years due to T Cells or something.

just tried to find article but not managed yet, I came across the T cell article though and it’s just saying they don’t know how long it’ll last yet but they’re hopeful it’ll last longer like you’re saying, same article is saying Pfizer effectiveness reduces about 6% every 2 months

They’ve vaccinated some from other countries or something, it says 117%
But you can’t have more than 100% in a country. Having 117% (ie some having had a vaccination and then left) doesn’t mean that anymore than 100% of people in the country at any one time are vaccinated.

How are your covid symptoms?

ok it’s 100% then
You were right first time but wrong at the same time.
It's 116% because they've vaccinated a lot of non-residents (Spanish workers presumably), and it's a percentage based on the resident population.
There is no figure for residents only but it's highly unlikely to be 100%.

True, it’s just the wording.

‘Gibraltar has administered at least 78,510 doses of COVID vaccines so far. Assuming every person needs 2 doses, that’s enough to have vaccinated about 116.5% of the country’s population.’

In Florida, part of the problem appears to be that vaccination rates have been quite low in multiple counties. That now means that as cases increase and hospitalizations rise, it’s going to be increasingly difficult to find beds and equipment. In previous waves, there tended to be hotspots and cold spots, so it was possible to transfer sick patients to less busy areas, but that is going to be extremely difficult to do this time.

So avoidable.
