But you can’t have more than 100% in a country. Having 117% (ie some having had a vaccination and then left) doesn’t mean that anymore than 100% of people in the country at any one time are vaccinated.

How are your covid symptoms?

big improvement last 2 days running now so think I’m out the woods, brain fog was horrendous for over a week and zero energy but clear head now and I’m going to get the poor dog out later, never had difficulty with breathing luckily

I just took large doses of vit c every day and tonnes of water

I’ve passed it on to my mate who lives with me, he’s about 4 days behind me but identical symptoms

Were either of you vaccinated and may I ask your ages?

As I do not give a single fuck about case numbers (like I don’t with cold or flu), what are their hospital and mortality figures like?

don’t know just stumbled on that looking to confirm the vaccination rates so sent it on here

I know you might not give a single fuck but it was for the whole forum

non of us are vaccinated

I went out on 24th July with 4 mates all double jabbed, 2 were fine, 2 and myself caught it
One is really suffering the other similar to me

i was 43 in July and all mates similar age

It's all a bit meaningless using Gibraltar to try and prove a point. We've already established that they have vaccinated thousands of Spanish people. We don't know how many Spanish workers haven't been vaccinated. Their recent new cases peaked at a seven day average of 31 which is 1 in a thousand and we don't know how many of them are non-residents. There has been just one death since March.
The dataset is far too small with too many unknowns to draw any conclusions about vaccine efficacy against transmission.

wasn’t trying to prove anything just thought it was topical and may be of interest to some people on the coronavirus thread

The whole forum shouldn’t give a single fuck either. If a vaccination makes covid feel like a bit of a cold/flu and doesn’t put 5-7% in hospital and kill 1-2% then who actually cares how many new cases we get per day?

Probably worth reading this to put that in context.
https://fullfact.org/health/pfizer-teens-myocarditis/
In summary one child out of 8.9 million has died of heart failure after the Pfizer vaccine.
Of the 397 reported cases of myocarditis (1 in every 22,500 who were jabbed) nearly all fully recovered quickly. They also don’t know how many of the 397 were actually caused by the vaccine.
The death rate following the vaccine is not much different to the death rate caused by Covid in teenagers so it’s understandable if people choose not to get their children jabbed. However by not doing so, it means that the spread to adults will be higher.
If adults did the right thing and got jabbed, there wouldn’t be any need to consider giving it to children.
Anti-vaxxers have a lot to answer for.
It's not just deaths though is it?
6% of teenage cases will still get Long Covid and 1.5% of teenage case will still be suffering symptoms a year later

It's a pointless stat though from a twitter feed with a clear agenda. When the case rate peaks at around 30, the fact that it makes it look like the highest case rate per capita in the world is misleading. You could do the same for any small town where there's been a minor flare up. The key thing in Gibraltar is that there are just 8 serious cases and 1 death and we don't even know if it's from vaccinated residents.

Edit: The death was an unvaccinated resident.

Interestingly the final sentence of the press release disproves the tweet's point about everyone being vaccinated.
"I strongly urge everyone who has not been vaccinated to contact the GHA to arrange a vaccination now."

to be honest I don’t care about case numbers either but looking through this thread it’s page after page of daily case updates

not seen anyone tell them they don’t give a fuck so some people must be interested in case numbers

it’s there for those who are interested I suppose
