Very few people are going to say ‘I caught it at a party’ or ‘ i played football with a load of mates’. Everyone I know who has caught it claims it was from work, which it may well have been. I’ve even heard “I’ve no idea. I’ve never left the house’

That's my point, they need to say where, work is a bastard one I suppose, but the no idea I've never left the house to get it,well I don't buy that I'm sorry

Has anyone noticed crime has gone mad since the latest lockdown?

Someone murdered near us recently and just had my car wing mirrors kicked off by a group of youths, obviously not comparing the two but it’s not been typical of the area until recently.

Apparently several cars have been done in recently in the area.

It's possible if you have had stuff delivered and not wiped it down, postie could have posted it through your letter box, or delivery man etc.

Anything passing your front door is your responsibility.

Fucking pissed me right off, got a fortune coming out in the next 3 months and likely £400 damage as a minimum.

Parenting these days is abysmal and the police are hopeless.

Did a job for a guy whos a stockport copper. Hes said the biggest increase has been violence and sexual assault within the home and male suicides

Patients admitted was the cause of my little optimism, so if true that's down on 14th, the last date I saw, and the date it's still showing.
Patients admitted (England) is showing no real trend at the moment, could be on a long plateau, not sure, but it would appear the net change in hospitalised people with covid (ie once you take into account discharges) is actually ever so slightly on the down - that is a slowing of the increase, not actually reducing. But it's not clear. They could be clearing out the large influxes from post holidays now, hence why slight slowing of net increase (still increase though).

Not bothered at all.

What are the new admission rates over the last couple of dates, as they were the number I was posting about, "patients up" obviously isn't the same thing as plenty could also be released.

The admissions are always out of date but have their own problems which is why I never mention them.

They count people who come in with possible covid then who are diagnosed as such and give another number and they then give a number for the ones they think had covid that were admitted. As far as I could figure out what the numbers meant. They are in multiple tables with different numbers for the same date!

I decided if they were that complicated and in dispute with each other though called much the same thing in the tables of data that it was better to base conclusions on the numbers who were IN on the actual day and who have been assessed and diagnosed as having Covid.

As that at least is likely to be people in hospital with Covid on the day in question.

Not being a statistician or maths whiz and totally amateur on this I probably missed the point of all that data but it lost me so I was not going to try to post it in here.

It’s like clockwork orange in Stockport at the moment.

I call the police but they didn’t want to know.

They should be patrolling the streets to prevent crime, not sat behind a desk.
