when i can get through a day on here not reading you being petty and rude to others i will stop 'digging' you out. i ignore you as much as poss to be honest, but you take up much of a great thread desperately arguing with everyone.

recent days i've posted on here about the stats, my child's development during Covid and today posted about Australia's handling. so i'm very much on here to discuss Covid - not troll anyone. stop being rude to me and others and you will get no digs from anyone.
You started at me when i was very ill with covid and telling people about it , i asked you privately to stop but you carry on , stop it , last time i will be polite

i was having a discussion , adults talking

Because it is very haphazard.

My brother is two years younger than me in the 65 to 70 group and lives in a different GM Borough but he has now had two appointments for two different days and I am two years older and about 5 miles away from him and have not heard a thing.

There is no no coordinated strategy by the looks of it. It is a postcode lottery as to when they get round to you.
Thats a tad harsh to be fair, every area is going as fast as it can.

There are many variables to the speed of rollout such as how many vulnerable are in your area, how many care homes are in your area, how many volunteers etc etc

Got my invitation to jab today. Age 72, vulnerable thru immuno suppressant drugs. Booked in for 12 feb. Yay!
The online booking system is a bit rickety. Got to the end and was informed that one of the slots was no longer available, but not which one (you book 2nd jab at the same time). Had to almost start again and, guess what, new chosen slot still not available. Filled in form 3 times, got there in the end.
Tbf, the roll out is going really well. Well done Boris!
Progress is definitely varied between different areas - I'm 66 and not vulnerable so I'd expect to be in the block after you but I got the text today to book my first jab for Friday morning. I wasn't asked to book the second jab, just told it would be in about 12 weeks and I'd be contacted nearer the time.

twats, should be locked up.
In principle I agree, but some will have done it prior to knowing about the new variant.

Was never going to happen but our borders should have shut 12 months ago, then we would have been able to live like NZ and Australia. Being an island is an advantage, but we've had the worst death rate in the world.
