Because there is no counterpoint to garbage other than to call it out as garbage.
That is not true, any reasonable point has a counter point, you will just have to look harder, i know your on a slippery slope with the Government limiting you to information but it is there, in the numbers.

Northern Ireland data:

2 deaths - was 1 last week

116 cases - was 125 last week

8.4% positivity - was 9.4% last week

6 care home outbreaks - was 6 yesterday and 8 last week

Rolling 7 day cases total 1061 - down from 1066 yesterday and 1072 last week.

The numbers testing positive per age range:

0 - 19 (247) (up 4)

20 - 39 (392) (down 2)

40 - 59 ((310) (up 1)

60 - 79 (84) (down 5)

80 PLUS (25) (down 3)

As you see the over 60s falling the most still. Just 10.3% of the Total positive tests now. That is almost a third of what they were in January.

Whereas 60.4% are under 40.

Patients 126 - down from 130 yesterday and 158 last week

Ventilated 11 - was 10 yesterday and 13 last week

England hospital deaths:- All regions in single figures and 3 deaths in NW Anglia and 2 in Buckinghamshire are the only trusts with more than a single death in England today. That is a long time since I have seen this too.

Sunday data is always low due to registration difficulties at weekend (same with Monday) but relatively the drop in deaths remains startlingly obvious.
Do you know why they have registration problems at Weekends? I assume everything is everything is done online, and not waiting for Karen to log in on Monday morning to update the figures?

From experience it's entirely because they're waiting for Kevin in King's Lynn to come in on Monday and type in the figures ! Actually King's Lynn is a good example; they routinely seemed to have batches of deaths added; partly the IT systems and partly the difficulty of staff working largely from home.

Got to go to Southport for my 2nd jab all centres close by were full, hope it’s a nice day I’ll go for a walk on the beach

It was a serious question

Current flu and covid rates

Note the wildly different axis scales.

Please never complain about not having the data again.
Thanks for that, but i already knew those figures, i did ask for the Flu death rates as compared to the year before, mainly for others to question why, as i knew that as well or rather we all knew that but did not think about why

Where do live?or are you taking the Mickey
Prestwich , had to book through nhs England as they never gave me a follow up appointment after my 1st jab in heald green, I’ll speak to the gps on Monday but if I have to travel it’s not that far boots chemist Southport

I don't know - other than a friend who was a medical secretary at a Manchester hospital told me this was common practice where she worked. I guess it might be just down to how different hospitals act but it has been very apparent in the data right back to last April that NW under reports at weekend and over reports to catch up mid week. They also commonly have a big Friday once a month where they back audit I presume.

Once we are this low in the numbers it really makes minimum difference though.

I think it is not just the North West either as the numbers in England hospitals are always highest on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and again always have been as weekend data is held over and added.

I also think they may wait in some cases to the new week to consult with the family on registration as there have been some disputes on whether Covid should be on the death certificate or was the main cause of death.

To be fair, some of us probably think the same when we read your posts on this thread.

Do not get upset i do value other opinions just the ones with some input, as i never learn anything otherwise, and needless to say i have not read this thread from the beginning, i am not a morbid grave digger.
You have still not clarified your post that I originally responded to and you reacted to.

I think that is a quirk of trying to book through the national site as I found the same when I had a look. I had my first jab six weeks ago and I didn't get booked in then for my second so out of interest I looked on the national site last week and the few options I saw were ridiculous. I'm in Salford and I was getting Devon, the North of Scotland and similar.

You probably need an 'invitation' to book on your local NHS site.
