But we keep being told that if the season is cancelled every result, record etc is expunged... including our Carabou Cup win

So if that is correct, they'd have to play the full season for it to stay in the records

Our league cup win will stand as we won the competition and won it before any of this covid kicked in.
Where does it say our cup win will be scrubbed? First I've heard.

yes the lgu cup has been completed so they cant take that away, if everhting else is null and void,this season city won everthing that was on offer,another one for the record books

I imagine out name has been added to cup winners on the trophy itself. I doubt if they would get someone to ‘rub’ it out .

The first game behind closed doors if it comes to that will be us and the scousers where the referee will give it them on a plate then that’s them won the title! Day after lockdown rest of the games null and void.

now like most football liverpool fans,sky papers talksport and others want the season to finish, play behind closed doors, but am I the only one who could see the problem
now if all football,, prem championship 1st div and 2nd div plus the 2-3 div below what do we need to have a football game
players, refs linesman managers other staff but who or what else, im sure that every game needs medics and ambulances, now im sure that the government wont want that as medics and ambulances will be needed else where and how many would it be, 160 ambulance 400 medics plus others, im sure this wont happen

With a new date of 10th June being thrown about in Scotland ...I read somewhere that the EFL have worked out they will need 56? Days to complete the league. Assuming that players are given a pre season before restarting, they’ll have had longer off now than they do between seasons, that would mean not starting until July. 56 days would bring us to the end of August. Starting a new season immediately would just be ridiculous.

The only sensible option is to null and void this season, start again in August if that’s a possibility. Like some have said though, I can’t see football being played again this year. It’s ridiculous though that they’re willing to sacrifice the next 2/3 seasons to save 1. Give the scousers the league for all I care. It will always be tarnished.
