Availability of tests is the last thing Premier League will worry about. They'd pay for tests and get them without any problem. 10 000 tests are neither hard to find if you have a money and neither remotely a big money for entity as loaded as PL is.

I hear you can get everything on line from Nigeria. Premier League will worry if they don't have the support of the nation. Liverpool shat themselves when the public turned on them. Premier League Chiefs will be the same. If we are still suffering mass deaths and lockdown restrictions then there is no way the public will not turn against football. When we come to the end of this lockdown there will be no large gatherings. People will still have to social distance to stop a second wave of the virus or the first lockdown would of been in vane. One of the scientist at the Government press briefing said this is not a spirit but a marathon and he said it will go on for months. This is a once in a hundred year global disaster and I don’t think people at the head of football can get their heads around this. It’s going to be tuff on us all over the coming months. Going by current deaths we will have 30,000 deaths by the start of June or more. I’m sure everyone will be cheering for football, not!

If the season is not completed there are two options either null and void it or use current placings to determine champions relegation etc. But as I understand it the latter option is only acceptable if all teams have played the same number of games. Us v Arsenal is one of two outstanding fixtures preventing this currently being the case so basically stopping the dippers winning the league is still in our hands assuming that the league doesn’t restart properly.

Sounds like dark deeds in Scotland with clubs voting on whether to end the season with final placing decided on current positions in the league. Apparently it came down to Dundee's vote - they say they voted against, Scottish Professional League say their vote wasn't received.....

Whichever way the vote went one of the Old Firm clubs was going to be upset which makes it a win-win in my book.

now like most football liverpool fans,sky papers talksport and others want the season to finish, play behind closed doors, but am I the only one who could see the problem
now if all football,, prem championship 1st div and 2nd div plus the 2-3 div below what do we need to have a football game
players, refs linesman managers other staff but who or what else, im sure that every game needs medics and ambulances, now im sure that the government wont want that as medics and ambulances will be needed else where and how many would it be, 160 ambulance 400 medics plus others, im sure this wont happen

Before any games are played, aside from approval from government, the insurance companies would need to agree that the clubs very valuable assets are covered they would likely insist that a full preseason would have to be completed to ensure that players don’t suffer injuries and that the schedule of games would have to be at least reasonable

Insurance companies will have 0 say in it as they never have. Players get injured in pre-season and in training, and no matter what the schedule players will still get injured.
