Corruption in English football?

You’re making assumptions about their relationship that none of us have any idea about. But I’m not going to argue about that.

I was just pointing out that a betting syndicate is a million miles away from a horse racing syndicate.
Having been involved in a number of horse racing syndicates,I can tell you very few people who are, don’t like a bet. Horse racing and betting are very close relations.

Corruption in English Football.

Is rife.. !
This nastiness needs to stop !

Everything is absolutely perfect and any calls that happen to go to the red teams is just human error , and coincidence

After all we are talking about the elite referees here , creme de la creme

Only problem there is the younger and junior refs don't drop such clangers ,

I've not figured that bit out yet .....

Not sure who would be investigating what exactly but yeah I’m all for transparency.

But as far as I can see, an ex referee asked an ex manager who owns horses for some advice on getting back into part horse ownership.
Presumably that advice included staying the f*ck away from any kind of spunk that doesn't belong to you..which is a good life lesson for any man...

Am sure all this dialogue took place when neither were in positions of power. Also sure that people involved in horse racing betting arrangements have absolutely no involvement or interest in football betting.

In any other industry this would look like a red flag and be investigated. Not in football though

Centre of attention seeking Mike Dean has certainly mastered keeping himself near the centre of attention since he retired.

There may or may not be corruption in English football. There’s lots of circumstantial evidence out there, along with stories like this one that “has to” prove Dean was corrupt.

It’s merely confirmation bias.

We’ll probably find out next that one of the horses was called Spot Kick Rag.

Footballers have been involved in horse racing ownership since anyone can remember. It’s not a secret or a crime.

You want every retired footballer who’s ever had a share in a horse investigated because it probably meant they were betting on the horses and that probably meant they were betting on football also?

Very recently retired referee

He mentioned in the same interview that he managed a horse racing syndicate 10 or 12 years ago, when he was still refereeing. I’m sure the powers that be were aware of it and didn’t have a problem with it.

I’m honestly struggling to see the connection between people employed in the football industry’s involvement in horse racing and corruption inside football.
