Corruption in English football?

Apparently Bellerin has been pulled up 5 times already this season.

I think it's a joke to pull them up anyway unless they're egregious or give an unfair advantage. Both of our "foul throws" (one definitely wasn't, I didn't see a replay of the other) were thrown backwards barely any distance to a defender. There's no way he's gained any advantage whatsoever. The sort of thing that a good referee lets go and a bad referee allows to ruin the flow of the game.
Any idea what the odds were in Asia for 2 foul throws by City in the first half?

It’s been my go to bet for the last 25 years on every City game & it’s never come in. Didn’t have chance to put it on today & what do you know? My luck & gambling is awful

Bet there’s some lucky bastard who’s never bet on that outcome before, but did today & the Jammy sod’s won a bucket full of cash.

Think today showed how clear it is, one of the most one sided and awful officiating performance in our game and the strategy of placing the Rag Oliver for Utd in a tricky game and he protected them all game, not giving out cards and a joke of the extra time played over the added time

You know that the Rags think that we are the Media Darlings, Refs favour us, get this too. A Tyler thread where their convinced he fuckin hates them :)

David Coote, City v Sheff Utd (30/01/21) - Discuss.
A bit of a non-entity of a game for the ref.

Let the game flow with two play-ons in the first half and pulled their lad to one side and booked him when the ball went out of play. Good reffing.

Surely it’s the linesman’s and then VAR’s job to see the push in the back on Torres? Wasn’t exactly the worst penalty incident I’ve ever seen anyway.

And that was about it.

Classic 'game management' tactics from Coote today. From early on in the first half where he played advantage when we were running down a blind alley, I knew it was going to be one of those games. Disparity in applying the LOTG, a lack of cards and those foul throws were suspect to say the least.

Even if it wasn't an attempt to manipulate the result in an attempt to influence the outcome of the title there was certainly suspicion of manipulation of events to influence betting outcomes.

Follow the money......

Well if you can bet on a foul throw his bank should be checked
