Corruption in English football?

Of course there is corruption in football, we have seen it , i hope i live to see it exposed here in all its gory detail , var has it operating in clear sight , everyone knows it , the decisions the dippers got the last two seasons , as soon as we got banned the helping of the rags to get fifth was nauseating , suddenly all sorts happened in their games , there is no room for doubt imo
Spot on we’re all talking about the rags “help” this season like it’s a new thing they were placed were
Easy to say sat in a Bein Studio , he wouldnt be saying that if he was still employed by Sky
keys is probably the only one to bang the drum about it he’s got an axe to grind with sky and he will definitely know about the dodgy going’s on

One thing I’m surprised hasn’t been started is some sort of campaign by fans of all clubs (probably wouldn’t get many from the two favoured clubs) seeking the decision making between the referee and VAR officials to be heard.

They don’t want to do that because it would expose their bias.

Threaten boycotts in the future, walk-outs etc.

Also a group logging all of the decisions and narrative around them keeping the bias in the public eye.

Think of the focus on Sterling after the penalty against Fulham.

Compare that with last night, and numerous other penalties given to the red shirts.

Fan power needs to be harnessed to have any chance of change.

Posted these in different threads today but the points stand in this thread.

A Rag/Dipper title race is by far and away the biggest money spinner for the PL in terms of worldwide branding and TV rights.

F*cking sick of it. It's blatant. Scudamore himself practically admitted it was bent.
Pogbad DID kick the defender, and he DID kick his own leg, and he DID dive... BUT, the defender had his hand on his shoulder and when you have pundits (ex players) spewing the narrative 'if he feels contact he's entitled to go down' one game and 'he went down too easy there' in the next game you just know something is very wrong.

BT regularly wheel out Peter Walton to 'explain' why it was or wasn't a penalty, and he just makes sh*t up which generally covers for the on field referee/VAR decision. The corruption is being covered up at the highest levels.

I still don't believe there is an orchestrated effort to cheat.

I do think that where most people benefit financially (broadcasters/newspapets/social and sports media/big clubs/the PL) is where slight biases come into play. It's more organic than brown envelope stuff.

Eg. Penalty last night.... VAR team is more likely to have impartial utd fans. Sky make more money off utd success so don't dwell on the pen. Utd fans crowd out negativity on social media. News outlets lose money with negative cheating stories (about lfc/utd).and finally ALL football sports news ignore anything about corruption in football lest the gravy train stops.

It's no wonder that teams like utd/juve/rm/bayern are ALWAYS and forever at the top.

He does probably have an Axe still to grind with Sky, but he is sat in a Studio that is on the periphery of football, so he can make statements that are designed to elevate his importance more than for the good of footballs future.

There has been corruption in other countries notably Italy and anyone that thinks there isn’t some sort of corruption/favouritism ( towards certain teams )going on is burying their head in the sand...

The game is too tribal unfortunately and supporters lack the desire, will and organisation to do it.

For example I find it difficult to understand why anyone other than followers of the cash cow clubs puts money into Sky, BT etc when the coverage is so shockingly biased.

Media coverage will only change when they are forced to for commercial reasons.

It’s been corrupt for decades, look at all the shit Ferguson’s team got away with and the number of pens, added time, etc that always benefitted them. The FA even admitted as much once when Scudamore let slip that the PL “needs a strong Man Utd”. What a horrible thing to behold. Why them? Why not any club, or a group of clubs to make exciting and genuine title races? But for some reason, the FA and PL have decided to market those fucking vermin as the flagship of their ‘product’.

The cheating corrupt cunts need bringing down. And those vile bastards at Trafford need fucking beating and bucket loads of bad luck on and off the pitch. Cunts.
