Could Pedro Porro be a long-term replacement for Walker?

Just because we have a buy back. The lad has to agree to it.

Don't think he would join us, knowing that he's about to be sold the next day. He doesn't gain anything from that.
He does, he'll gain the massive signing on bonus we pay him, say £5m and wave bye the next day as we pocket £30m (less £5m) profit.

The way everything is right now I’d tie Rico down to a new 5 year deal and send him out on a 2 year loan. Sell Cancelo for maybe £45mill and sign Pedro for £30mill bank the £15mill plus the £100,000 a week wages.

Rico can replace Kyle when he returns from the 2 year loan.

2 year loan?? He’s good enough now.

I think it’s ridiculous to suggest replacing Walker, absolutely ridiculous.

Before Lewis came onto the scene I was all for this, now I’m unsure. Maybe pep will play Lewis in midfield and we need a right back. We aren’t getting rid of Walker now…
We would still need back up for Lewis and Walker isn't getting any younger. It's called succession planning and City will have charts that probably include replacing Rico Lewis when he's Kyle's age.

I’m all for Porro coming back. But the idea of getting rid of Walker who went into this season as our number 1 RB, England’s number 1 RB is absurd.

You're right, we'll keep Kyle until he gets his walker (see what I did there).

On the other hand City will plan his successor for WHEN we "get rid".
