Could Pedro Porro be a long-term replacement for Walker?

All the big guns circling him for 45 million we can get him for £15mill. Be silly not to resign him Lewis can play midfield anyway so not worried about taking Lewis place

Pep already had a look last summer and and said no
Porro himself even had a bit of a dig in the media about Pep not knowing who he was
So that tells you all you need to know
Didn’t see that. No doubt a good player now, but probably a 99% chance we’d just sell him on

Clubs normally do not buy a player back with a buy back clause and then sell them on immediately for a profit.
I can't think of any example of this.
The nearest we did was with Angelina but even he wasn't brought back to sell on, just Pep didn't think he was good enough to play for us.

Walker not playing much recently, while Sheffield looks very likely to be promoted. Could we see Walker returning already this summer? Doubt he’s happy to sit on the bench in his last couple years of his career. Porro has been incredible at Sporting and would make a great duo with Lewis as our RB options

Sheffield play in the northern premier league div 1 mate, can't see him dropping that low ;)

Just because we have a buy back. The lad has to agree to it.

Don't think he would join us, knowing that he's about to be sold the next day. He doesn't gain anything from that.

Additional agent fees might be involved though. Maybe he's advised to agree to it so they can collect double on the fees.
