Could Pedro Porro be a long-term replacement for Walker?

If we could make 15/20m we would have done it. Things might not be exactly like what`s being reported in the media. We`re not run by fools

Maybe there is a lot of great area but spurs offered 37m+addons we have an option to buy him for 20m

So we don’t sign a player even though we could make 15/20m?
Zero guarantee of that though.

We pay 15m, then put him up for sale at 40. I dont think the spuds will be looking to do us a favor and hand us a quick 20m.

If we had another party who would agree a deal with us, it would be done.

A club who offered 37m+ addons won’t find 35m a good deal

Also that would be bad in relationship between City and Sporting and they outright would not deal with us in the future

So what’s the point in doing them favours they agree to the deal with the buy back and then they cry and take there ball home if we use the buy back
Sporting have no say in this if we want to execute the buyback. That isn't the issue here. Porro himself has to accept the terms of the deal and sign the contract with us first.

Of course you could believe that Txiki is incompetent and he doesn't want to make any money for City so is just letting this transfer go by also.
