He was in uniform mate, also there was a nurse before him and he made the guy let her inIf he takes his Firefighter ID with him, they’ll probably let him in too
I agree, but I think this is a precursor to a full lock down.A significant number of homeless people don’t want to be housed, or at least deal with the associated restrictions that would be placed upon them. It’s not that straightforward an issue tbf mate.
Absolutely ridiculous. He was in uniform mate, also there was a nurse before him and he made the guy let her in
Agreed.Accepted G but the govt do appear to have sprung into action all of a sudden whereas prior to covid they were pretty meh about the issue.
This is what the Italians thought. Probably the single biggest reason why their staff went down with Covid so quickly. Essentially, non-invasive ventilation throws virus particles everywhere, potentially infecting staff and other patients who haven’t got it. As CPAP is used extensively in nursing home patients it will have been a contributing factor in the widespread of disease in care homes worldwide. Not sure if already mentioned but some interesting stuff about CPAP apppnia machines as ventilators. UK has 10s of thousands of these machines in circulation (i have one) and the only adjustments needed are software based apparently. They can even be used with oxygen. Not sufficient for those in ICU but could help others. No sign of a recall from the NHS though. I am no medic but perhaps others on here know more?
Who knew they could do this?
Why haven’t they done it before?

They’ll need to get people off the streets because it will be the army patrolling them, not a local bobby
One is to detect if you have it. The other is to detect if you have had it and built up anti-bodies to it. At least that is my understanding of it.
Not just in government either, millions of us might have the mild or asymptomatic version, but we'll never know, and we'll still be going out to the shops and spreading it.If it spreads as quickly and easy as some experts say then surely this means that there's a good chance many more in government will have it?
Most people are staying off the streets without enforcement. It can be done patrolling in vehicles using drones etc just waiting for reports even .Doesn't need as much enforcement as you think 99% of people doing the right thing. At least that seem to be the case in my area. The problem is we have neither enough police or soldiers ro patrol the streets, Put the whole lot in London and they would be pushed to keep control. Every town and city in the country? No chance at all.
