You have quoted me twice since I said it was over, do you have some sort of problem?

I told the other it was over hours ago but you joined in and kick started it again but then again it gave me a chance to see the other one still carrying it on somewhat behind my back with snide digs, to be expected I suppose.

Maybe I will delete this and stick a full stop in like your previous effort.

Tip them every week if you think they do a good job, not because there is a crisis going on, if your only tipping them because of the crisis then why aren't you tipping the poor guy behind a screen serving you your fuel in the garage, the workers in supermarkets that are still dealing with people face to face and without which you wouldn't have any food on your plate?

As for me, the people making direct contact are doing a far more dangerous job but like I already said I don't want your tip for doing my job thanks.

Ugh.

Just stop.

Do you reckon he's done a bad job? I don't.

Sure we can all pick holes because of course we are all geniuses and perfect in every respect.

But bsck in the real world, Boris has worked his arse off, made humungous amounts of money available, listened to and acted upon expert advice and has done everything he can to keep as many people as possible safe whilst balancing personal freedoms and the need to keep the country going to some degree at least. Has it been perfect? No. Has he done his utmost? Yes he has. And his popularity is a reflection of how people see if too.
maybe one for the future, no doubt whatsoever it will be brought up before an inquiry when this ends, i do agree they have had no tools for the job and every government has been caught with the pants around their ankles, what else could they have done under the circumstances, of course there is always more to a story more than you or me or anyone on this site is aware of, all will be explained in due course and under the right circumstances

It won't. It will all be swept away in a Boris blaze of glory. Have you seen his ratings or general approval at what a good job he's done? Yes it's weird but no it won't change. He's untouchable.
Could that be because they have done a reasonable job?

Can I just point out that you jumped down my throat for posting politics in this thread and not the 'correct' one?

Boris would be ashamed of you ;)

That won’t count one iota to those who hate the Tory party.... not interested, just want to blame them during this unprecedented time, no one would have done things perfectly and mistakes were bound to happen.

They have systematically run down the NHS since the sixties, regardless of the colour of the parliament and it means we were not prepared for this crisis. Will we learn from this? I think we won’t! Boris is doing a brilliant job with the funds available, but 888 deaths is shocking it’s a heavy price to pay for years of underfunding.
I’m still finding it hard to accept the statistics at first when the pandemic was announced it was it was can’t happen here.
I’m not wanting to get into an argument, but if we haven’t run out of ICU beds, then I’m not sure how the death rate has got anything to do with years of underfunding the NHS? I don’t think anyone can say what the main cause of our death rate is as compared to others, as the stats are all over the place, and everyone reports differently.
