England hospital data is 6 deaths - same as last Saturday (this is Friday data recall not weekend - that comes tomorrow & Monday).

None were from the NW - there was 1 last week.

So the UK hospital total is 6 today. It was 7 last Saturday.

Here is the detail of the England hospital deaths:

28 Aug adds 1 to = 1 after one day.

27 Aug adds 3 to = 3 after two days.

26 Aug adds 1 to - 7 after three days (2 nd highest 3 day total in two weeks).

25 Aug adds 0 to = 9 after four days (the highest 4 day total in over two weeks).

24 Aug adds 0 to = 5 as the five day total.

The sixth death was two months old so will probably be discounted.

So 23 Aug stayd at 7 after six days, 22 Aug at 5 after a week, 21 Aug at 5 after eight days and 20 Aug at 3 after nibne days.

81 of today's 88 new infections confirmed in Scotland are in the 20-64 age range.

Just one person older than that who is in the 65-74 range, nobody older.

The other 6 all younger than 20, with 3 of these 6 in the 0-4 range.

That was yesterday's all settings number Kaz. The UK hospital number today IS 6.

Not that I am claiming to be ahead of the BBC or Sky but on Saturday the media rarely get this number as soon as it comes out.

N Ireland news is pretty grim too

0 deaths as usual but 89 new cases - up fron 71 last week.

So the UK total with England to come is a srcond highest in recent months of 217!

As I said things are starting to get a little concerningas NIcola Sturgeon noted referring to the rise in ven6ilator patients as a warning not to be complacent that rising cases will not translate to riusing deaths.

Last week for comparison the all settings death became 18 from the 7 UK hospital deaths then.

And the cases last Saturday were the only one to beat today with 228 from the other three nations. England later added 1060.
