All to fight a respiratory virus that generally takes very old people, just like respiratory viruses do every single year. The only difference with this one is, if you’ve died from metastatic cancer, a heart attack, a stroke or some such like in the past, you’ve not had a swab shoved down your throat to see if you might have had a virus sometime in the last 3 or 4 months and, if you have, you’re on the ‘Covid pile’ which doesn’t seem quite right.
The presumption seems to be that everyone who has died with Covid, would all still be alive if this virus hadn't appeared, which is a long way from the truth.

Honestly I find your argument so fucking tiresome, I really do. You're an intelligent bloke I am sure, and therefore it is mind bogglingly how you cannot get your head around exponential growth and the inexorable hundreds of thousands dead and an NHS completely swamped, with people dying not only in corridors but before they even get to hospital. If we do nothing its fucking armageddon and yet you compare it to respiratory viruses we get "every single year". Mind boggling.

Closing gyms,more so independants,will achieve nothing except cause further anger,frustration and distress.

Anyone who trains in such an establishment will understand they are very much a disciplined and respectful setting,and probably one of the safest places you could be......mainly because,if you don't,you will receive a very hard punch to the head.

The Germans are doing as badly as we are at the moment. Their T&T system that worked somewhat in the Summer is not working anymore, because T&T doesn’t work if the R is running faster than tracks and traces reach people.

Wifes mum and her fella live in the same village as us. Huge garden, 4m square gazebo, fire pit and no fucking rules will stop us sitting around it once or twice a week for a natter, a brew and a beer. If we can go to work or the supermarket to fight over a bog roll we can do what humans do and that is socialise safely and with some distancing in place.
My family are all in Heywood and not seeing them is fucking hard and i will respect not being able to do so but some of the rules are stupid.
