The hospital data is not good today either. North West starting to rise a little after the plateau as was inevitable now with case numbers rising.

And Greater Manchester today had its worst day in nearly a month. Manchester even back over 200 cases.

Sadly it will likely be so high by the time anyone wakes up and does anything about it that as London and the South start to come out of this wave the North West will be in lockdown until the Spring to control the third wave that was allowed to come here and not stopped swiftly because it might have been an unpopular decision.

God help us if we had had a leader unwilling to make unpopular decisions during the last war. And this is a war too just being viewed far too often as a popularity contest.

Astonishing figures, 1% of the population testing positive every week. The actual numbers infected are probably several times higher.

Dread to think what hospitalisations and deaths will follow.

Stay home blues.
1% testing positive every week added to the 20 million who have had it already, if that continues we will have herd immunity well before the vaccine is rolled out.

Try reading the post you idiot.
It’s a direct response of the covid restrictions. Fuck all to do with Brexit.
its too late now as you’ve already gone off on one, but chill the fuck out.

I know this may be a bit difficult for your superbrain to cope with but if you follow the post back it was about someone tweeting DHL and their response to a no deal Brexit and the person posting it was doing so to create a panic that wasn’t real.

Fucking hell:

COVID case rates above 1,000 cases per 100,000 people in eight areas

COVID-19 case rates are now above 1,000 cases per 100,000 people in eight local areas of the UK, the latest data shows.

Three of the areas are in Wales: Merthyr Tydfil, where the rate has jumped week-on-week from 926.6 to 1,299.6, which is the highest rate anywhere in the UK; Bridgend, up from 777.3 to 1,122.1; and Blaenau Gwent, where the rate has climbed from 698.5 to 1,006.3.

The other five areas are in England:

  • Thurrock (a huge jump from 435.9 to 1,178.7)
  • Havering (up from 547.1 to 1,123.5)

Lockdown fetishists very disappointed by that press conference.

They needed fear, by Wednesday Boxing Day and beyond lockdown will be announced.
