Pub about 15 years ago was laughing and joking about Ripping Yarns with my mate in a quiet corner while the pub quiz was on in the other bar.

We could hear the questions as they were linked via his microphone to the pub speakers.... we'd just by a second stopped talking about John Cheese having a cameo in the football episode when the quiz master asked the question "who had a cameo etc"

My mate was in the Waldorf on 2nd December last year. He said there was a group of FOC's in there, some of them were creepy as fuck!!

We FOC's in CBL3 are as creepy as fuck. I just wish the whistling wankers would look up and see us sometime and think 'City pen'!

Not so much creepy but more of a karma type.

I flew out to London on business, when we landed a guy was on crutches clearly struggling with his bags. I offered to carry these and get him to his taxi rank.

Couple of days later I fly home and the same guy is on the flight, we have the usual hello how's the leg talk. Midway through the flight we are told we have to land in Birmingham for some reason. The replacement bus was going to collect us in a couple of hours and then a long trip on the bus to Manchester was to follow. I'm outside waiting with everyone else and suddenly a private hire taxi pulls up, the guy with the crutches leans out and tells me to get in and he'll pay for a taxi back to Manchester. Felt like a celebrity walking past all the dross waiting for the bus.

When I was younger my family were friendly with the family in the house directly across the road from us. Kids went to the same school etc.

We went on holiday one summer to some apartments in Corfu. Lovely place, got settled in, unpacked suitcase, then went down to the poolside restaurant to see what it was like… who is sat there eating a cheese toastie? The daughter of the family who lives across the road from us.

We had somehow elected to go to the exact same holiday resort 2,000 miles away at exactly the same time of year. They got there the day before us.

Birth of my first I was coming out of stepping hill hospital a held the door open for a bloke, at first I thought i knew him because I recognised his face, hiya mate you ok, after walking away I realised it was gerrard weikens (sp) couple of weeks after I went to register the Birth as I went in I held the door open for the couple behind me and it was weikens again, cheeky fucker, it's about time he held the door open for me :)

I was driving a camper van in Australia and was talking to my girlfriend about potentially going for a look around Glossop Caravans when I get home to buy one for myself. Just as I said that another camper with a massive Glossop Caravans sticker in the window drove by us. Spooooooky.

Another one, a few years ago about 10 of us were staying at the Malmaison hotel in town for a wedding, listening to music in my room. Started talking about Noel Gallagher & Johnny Marr and how they should do some stuff together etc, then in the lift we were taking the piss out of my mates hat and how it made him look like Badly Drawn Boy.
Walk out of the lift and who is stood in the bar area.... Johnny Marr, Noel Gallagher and Badly Drawn Boy.
Now that was mental
