Boland hattrick!
Not really. It’s moved and swung a bit. They’re just shite.27/9. I take it they’re playing on a complete minefield.
522 runs scored in the test match would suggest difficult batting conditions. Not really. It’s moved and swung a bit. They’re just shite.
It was the way they celebrated bowling the Aussies out, meaning they were chasing JUST 204!!!!!!!!!!!!Not really. It’s moved and swung a bit. They’re just shite.
It’s the pink ball that’s done it really. Staff was outstanding.522 runs scored in the test match would suggest difficult batting conditions.
Correction: 516 runs.522 runs scored in the test match would suggest difficult batting conditions.
I’m reading this thread the following day and whilst I know I’ve got the benefit of hindsight, it reads like most match day threads. Full of people worrying and moaning, it’s a joy to read.Carse got 56 in the first innings and India got absolutely skittled in the first test in both innings and were 376-7 then 387 all out in the first in this test!
To be fair they’ve lost both games he played in.Defo Atkinson back. And Bumrah will miss one of the games of they are only playing him for three. They’ll be mad if they stick to that.
Cares, Archer, Atkinson and Stokes. Yes please
Just seen an unbelievable stat about the Windies.West Indies are unbelievably poor. I'd expect the county sides to beat em.
I did. It was another great day’s cricket.I’m reading this thread the following day and whilst I know I’ve got the benefit of hindsight, it reads like most match day threads. Full of people worrying and moaning, it’s a joy to read.
I was never anything other than confident once we’d got them six down and thoroughly enjoyed the day’s play. Can’t think many in this thread did when reading their posts.
Everyone has their own opinion. You must get staggered very easily. A couple of shandies probably does the trick. He wasn’t mocking him - he was giving an opinion. And seeing as it took 4 years for Archer to play again it’s wasn’t that bad a statement. Archer has played 14 test matches and is 30! Sorry I’m not meaning to jump down your throat - and I’m not related to Agnew - but I’m staggered anyone is taking this stance on it. Each to their own opinion, I just don’t agree though ;)
Until the retirement of Jimmy and Broad, England didn’t really need Archer.Everyone has their own opinion. You must get staggered very easily. A couple of shandies probably does the trick.
Congratulations to Joffrey Archer for returning to the biggest stage with a superb performance. You almost make it sound like he wanted to be injured for the past 4 years. Would you have said the same about Paul Lake or Colin Bell??
Aggers made a **** of himself but it’s all water under the bridge now.

Paid by licence payers not to slag off England players for the sin of being injured.Until the retirement of Jimmy and Broad, England didn’t really need Archer.
Given that Archer had serious elbow and back injuries, Aggers’ view wasn’t that far fetched. In the end he was proved wrong, so what? He is paid to voice his opinion.
This encompasses a modern view of the world that I don’t recognise. Sorry, I do recognise it but it suggests that somehow opinions must be approved. BBC has certainly gone that way which is why I don’t watch their news and current events stuff any more. The modern BBC has an agenda, they even have meetings to discuss what they approve of. For example, they will not air views which call some climate change orthodoxy into question. Their directive talks about ‘settled science’ which is nonsense.Paid by licence payers not to slag off England players for the sin of being injured.
We needed Archer even though Broad and Jimmy were brilliant on home soil. We often got battered away.
Aggers was embarrassed so he paid his dues. Archer and Stokes (yes the dynamic England Captain who was at the centre of this) taught him a lesson. Not a massive deal but I’m sure you would have something to say if someone on here had been slating Rodri last season.
The Aggers Defence League are reminding me of the Blues who gave the v’s to Kolarov but couldn’t take it when Alex’s gave a bit back.

It did get a bit twitchy but after they went 8 down India and particularly Jadeja went completely into their shell scoring less than 2 runs and over for the rest of the match.I’m reading this thread the following day and whilst I know I’ve got the benefit of hindsight, it reads like most match day threads.
