They're not. India beat them, WI drew 1-1. SA would beat them. We are just awful. Not won a 5 test series since I don't know when???
 
Stayed up until 1am and now knackered. At least I won’t be staying up again. What a joke of a team.
 
Problem with our management is they had to much faith in players we seen fail after fail after fail “go harder” Mcullum says then after two tests it’s go softer now that’s 3 years up the shitter!
 
If I was an Aussie, I’d probably be twisting the knife by suggesting a review of future series and whether they should turn into a 2 or 3 test series. We clearly can’t compete with an average Aussie side based on current showing.

Must be causing Cricket Australia a significant headache in lost revenue as a result of ticket refunds
 
Australia are a very strong team at home but I thought we would at least be competitive this series. But alas, we’re going to lose the Ashes in record time against a team who’s been missing some key players in every test so far.

This is 2013/14 all over again but against a weaker side this time around.
 
I’d rather we had followed through with Bazball seeing that been leading to the Ashes last 3 years! All they had to do was understand the big moments! Like when pope comes in don’t fucking go at it block defend an over or two get in! Like in Perth there was times when they should thing we ahead now let keep these bowlers in the field longer then it will be a bit easier where you can cash in! Now we gone back to doing nought then getting out to good balls!

I get that it's a bit of a road but no one can have any confidence that England would have posted a higher score than what Australia did.
 
Ben Stokes and Brendon Mccullum have to walk and most of the players

It's Crazy to think you have put all your eggs into one basket (Bazball) for 3 years, then now it's wrong and you want to change it mid-series. Well done to the Aussies on winning the Ashes in under 10 days of cricket.

It's shocking that anybody can defend Stokes or England coaches with the setup over the past 3 years of building up to the Ashes( Bazball). Rip the whole idea up and get back to basics and get proper cricketers and a spinner then build a team.

Also, get rid of the central contracts system and pick players from country cricket who have been in form with bat and ball. I want to see a new young English team built for the home ashes in 2 years
