Cristiano Ronaldo

I wonder who are there defensive targets? Again they are targeting positions they have strength in. John Terry needs replacing and Right Back is a problem for them.

Don't rate Azpilicueta then? Left back will be an issue too if Cole loses a step.

Their second best central defender just turned into a midfielder too.

Not read any of this thread so this may have been posted already. Am I the only one that gets wound up by this thread's title?? I fucking hate it when commentators call the cûnt by his full name, and can't believe I now have to see it on BM....

No.

Well after tonight you definitely couldn't blame him for moving on. Been at Real Madrid since 2009 and has only one La Liga title, one Copa Del Ray, one Supercoppa de Espana (Spanish Charity Shield), and a serious Vitamin D deficiency.

It does worry me what Real Madrid will do in the Summer.

It's quite obvious they are going to go on a mega spend, and I bet a lot of money they come calling in for Agüero.

Something inside me is telling me to brace myself for him moving on, and lets be honest I think it would be hard to turn down if I was him.

He won't be paid as well at Madrid, and we he won't get the hero status like he does at City, but he will be in a country that's speaks his native language, great weather, top top City to live in, just better lifestyle in general!

I hope Txiki can persuade him to stay.

but surely if ambition is what can be expected of them, why would they sell Ronaldo? Pretty big step backwards tbh. Tell them to go for Cavani and then Falcao can go to Monaco, which means hopefully none of the three go to Man Utd/Chelsea

If we want to be going anywhere we need to be keeping hold of Aguero for sure. He's got so much more to show us. I think he's going to have a season that will make his first with us look barren.

Doesn't that raise the question though of whether we even need to spend 40/50 million on a striker though?

Quite, and I don't think we do. As I've said in other threads if we've got 50m burning a hole I'd sooner throw it at Spurs for Bale.
