Cristiano Ronaldo

Someone said there are 30 identical houses to Ronaldo's so it might not even be his.

Should we just all give up then if we don't sign him ?

No, but we can probably forget the title if Chelsea or the scum get him. I wish our board would see that if we sign him we win the league for the next 2 or 3 seasons, even if we signed no-one else. He adds around 40 goals a season at least.

I don't agree, if we get our targets, we'll be stronger than any of those two teams with tranny. Scoring goals was our failure last season, that's getting addressed this season.

House for sale in Madrid, contract rejected, I fear the worst

In some ways I can see us bidding for him.

Whoever gets him will win the league, simple as that.

No, but you are talking about not only one of the best players of his generation but one of the top 5/10 goal scorers in the history of football.

The man is a machine and guarantees goals wherever he goes, like others have said, if he goes to United or Chelsea we will find it very very difficult to win the league.

Only if our new signings can add around 50 more goals between them. So unless we get Cavani I think that'll be pretty tough. We need to aim higher with our transfers, we really do. We've got to catch up again after last summer's fuck up.

I hate the assumption that whilst scum and chavs have been talking to him we havent .. who knows?? If the signing of this one player will guarantee winning the league etc etc.. and this is known by gollum and mou, why would you not, as a city supporter, imagine that our knowledgeable world class staff know this as well? Maybe he will stay at RM (i think they will bend over backwards to keep him) maybe he will do a second coming godlike media driven shit storm at OT , maybe he has a mancrush on mou and will go to chavs. Maybe he fancies a new challenge or whatnot and will come here. but to imagine if he was availlable either now or later in the window we would not even consider it ... is laughable. we may choose not to go there but you can bet your bottom dollar it would be discussed.

Didn't Ronaldo confirm we bid for him a few years back? I am pretty sure either way we offered big money to get him, or was it all speculation?

I think for sure Mansour would love him at City.

There is no loyalty in football anymore, and if a better offer came in from us rather than United them you never know.

I think Ronaldo wants a huge contract as he is seeing players not as good as him receiving more money than him, if we offered 300k a week I think he would think about it if he didn't want to be at Madrid anymore.

Stupid money I know, but we are talking about Cristiano Ronaldo.

He's obviously a special case, because pretty much any of the figures mentioned would be earned back fairly quickly off the field, never mind his on-field contributions. In purely footballing terms, though, I think Bale would be the better investment.

This guy is not going to Chelsea. He and Mourinho have fallen out. Apparently he and several other uninjured players refused to play Madrid's last game.

More likely to go to scum. Although he has played under Pellegrini.

Yeah, I don't follow that last line. Why would he go to play for Moyes when he can play for a manager he loved. If Fergie was still there it would be a completely different calculation...but he and Pellegrini were very good together.

I could be entirely wrong but I just don't think the rags would pay that sort of money anymore. Baconface has gone and Gill's no longer CEO. Moyes is manager and the Glazers have their own man in the CEO's office now. They'll be looking keep costs under control not increase them.

They could be shipping Rooney out but even that wouldn't come close to covering the cost of Ronaldo.

this ^^^^^^^^^,imo his contract squables at madrid are over money,he will sign a new contract at madrid imo on more money,he,s to valuable to them, without him barca would piss that league every season so in that case i think they will cave in and pay him what he wants

Which is why I'm quite confused by all of this. Talks have stalled and it seems like the only known interested party is PSG.. but why would u leave Madrid to go there? Makes no sense. Whose he holding out for as I don't think its anyone in the premier league

If it gets confirmed that he has put his house up for sale and wants to leave I can see us making an offer..

If we ever were to make an offer, I am sure we would base making that offer on more than hearing he has put his house up for sale.

If he was to go to PSG that would be great for the French league- some quality players moving there at the minute.

He won't go France as it rules him out the Ballon D'or in my opinion, it's either stay at Real or go to England.

Cristiano Ronaldo will not sign a new deal at Real Madrid. (Source: A Bola)
