Cristiano Ronaldo

There was a time when Ronaldo justified the hype, now he benefits from being the central striker for a team who would be disappointed not to put 4 past most of their League opponents at the weekend.

Navas was running half the length of the pitch against Bayern in midweek, CR7 can't do that. Of course there's loads of things that he can do that Navas can't, such as score! But like Beckham the image has got way ahead of where he is as a footballer, especially now.

I'd have Robben and Bale over Ronaldo for a start

I would have Ribbery personally, never seen a bloke work so hard and contribute so much from the left. If we could get him on the left and Navas on the right. (Then wakes up) :-)

That is basically saying Ronaldo is a good player, but vassell did a lot of running so I rated him just as higher. Ronaldo is twice the player robben and bale are.

Are we getting him? this thread has grown loads.. over 100 pages must mean we are in with a chance, no?
