You can walk to Selhurst Park? Ever thought of moving house mate?

I wasn't going to post on this thread I promised myself, ah well, wtf. If I Had my way, knowing Pulis I would set up as follows

Hart

Zabba Vinnie MDM Kolarov

Ferandinho

Yaya

Nasri

Aguero Negrdo

Nasri with license to roam (IMO he is a bit of a flat track bully [for anyone who does not know what this means see Graeme Hick] so this should be ideal for him, Ferna and Yaya swopping off depending whether we are attacking or defending and the beast making gaps for kun to run into and score (has anyone forgotten how lethal these 2 were?). Navas and Dzeko, maybe Jovetic to come of the bench if we need it in the last 15.

I know they have been on a run but we should AND must beat them. We should play the way that suits us and streamroller them.

Why do you think starting with only 9 outfield players will help us win on Sunday?

Palace thrive on getting their noses in front and then playing on the swift counter, something which they seem to be rather adept at doing. If we go a goal down , we'll be reliant on a number of already tired players chasing back, and we saw how difficult that is on Monday night, so it is important that we score first.

If Yaya Toure isn't fit:

Hart
Zabaleta - Kompany - Demichelis - Kolarov
Javi Garcia - Fernandinho
Navas - Jovetic - Milner
Aguero

Zabaleta - Kompany - Demichelis - Kolarov
Javi Garcia - Fernandinho
Milner - Yaya Toure - Jovetic
Aguero

Starting Hart, Kompany, Demichelis and Fernandinho is fairly standard so there's no real need to explain my decisions with those ones. But I believe that starting Kolarov, Javi Garcia and Jovetic is crucial.

Kolarov: Palace are going to attempt to stifle us in attack and hit on the break. They did it at our place earlier on in the season and it worked for 70 minutes, they did it against Chelsea and it worked for the whole game. There's no reason why they won't do the same again on Sunday, maybe other than that they're at home. Because of this, we're going to need as much as possible on either flank. Starting Clichy on Sunday would be a stupid thing to do. Kolarov doesn't need an invitation to get behind and cross the ball over at 100mph. It's fairly simple.

Javi Garcia: With Yaya coming back from injury and Palace channeling most of their attacks through the pace of Puncheon and Bolasie, Javi Garcia has to start. He's been fantastic for a good few weeks now and a start in a tricky away game will give him confidence, and it will give us some much needed defensive stability. We were great against Liverpool after he came on and but for Kompany's mistake we'd have taken a good point from there. It's crucial that he starts as the secondary anchor on Sunday.

Jovetic: I've seen us play packed defenses and come unstuck several times since 2011. Let's try and sort that out, shall we? We've got someone here who can create something from nothing in very tight spaces with snappy one-two exchanges in and around the 18-yard box. He'll drop deep, provide energy, a shot from distance and support for our wingers. He'll also be right up there with Aguero when required and this is as good a time as any to unleash them both together.

Totally agree with the above, hope to good Yaya is fit, will be much needed. I think Jovetic could make a real difference too, capable o producing something out of nothing !

Come on Cityyyyy

PELLEGRINI: "Silva, Navas and Nastasic are all out with injuries – all the other players are fit. I don't know how much longer for Silva."

Just wondering what has happened to NASTASIC ?- not heard much about him since - months ago.-When he did seem to lose his form.

Here are some interesting stats for the game this weekend:

Crystal Palace haven't conceded a 1st half goal in their last 7 league games, but have conceded 3 2nd half goals

Crystal Palace have taken a maximum 15 out of 15 points from their last 5 league games

Crystal Palace are the 11th best form team in Europe over the last five league games. betstatz.com/report

Man City have the best home attack in their league this season with 57 goals in their 17 home league games

Man City have failed to find the back of the net in just 3 of their last 30 league games

Man City have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 5 league games

The game looks like it will be a close contest, although with Palace safe from relegation I think the Man City talent will outweigh the Palace spirit and this should result in a Man City win.
