It's noticeable that Paul Carberry swerves the Clonmel evening card in order to take the ride on Russian War in the 14:50 at Newton Abbott. A shade odds on, I'm thinking that this must be considered a strong thing for him to come over for it.

Noticed that myself, have backed it but really any of them could win, it really is all about the best jumper wins this one I think.
PC's got another ride at odds on for the same trainer but I dont like backing horses that are running two days on the trot (pun not intended lol) I dont think it is right for the horse tbh.

Dunboyne Express this weekend if they were paying out each way on 3 places I would be doing it myself. Ran a stinker last time out. Got beaten by Bamimpre 3/4s of a lenght the race before so the only reason I am avoiding it is because of there not being enough runners for 3 places.
Lolly For Dolly might be a good each way bet on the earlier race that night. Up against Misty For Me who destroyed Midday last time out. Lolly will be there or abouts in this race.

In the Sprint Cup i was going with Deacon Blues as he was unexposed at that level but hes out after a bad scope. Its a wide open race because of Dream Aheads poor performance last time out and i think he'll be much better on Saturday as he will most likely get cut in the ground. However im going to go with Bewitched. She went off fav for the Golden Jubilee but finished lame. She is a very good horse who has had a few problems who has come into her own in the last 12 months. She beat Zoffany 2 starts back which is very good form and the fact that shes unexposed makes me think shes massive value at around 14/1.

Tempted to put Hoof It in there but he'll have to settle for 4th.
