It's a cracking game that, i'm upto 2022 in SO4, breeding all my own horses for ages now.

The only one of them I missed out on was SO2 had all the rest.

The only thing i'm struggling with is breeding a quality 5f sprinter ??

Any other distance no problems.

Can breed a good 2yo miler that trains on through the season that snaps up the 2yo 5f group races but not an actual 5f specialist to compete in the nunthorpe.

Had a 2yo win that 1 year but he needed stepped up to 6f at 3yo.

The best thing to do is breed with the game stallions. They are better at stud than yours for some strange reason. If you have got a 5f/6f filly and she is a decent horse(listed or above) breed her with the game stallions at 5f/6f. Ive just started a new game on hardest difficulty to give myself a task and ive got a 4 time group 1 winning 5f colt so breeding him now and should get some decent foals out of him.

Cheers Niall, I started that way with the best ingame stallions but I have multiple G1 winners in the barn for all distances bar 5f lol

Not 1 filly at that distance higher than G3 but everything that has come out of them even with the best stallions only seem to get to G3/listed level, very frustrating.

I'm thinking of starting a fresh game and trying to load one of the mod schedules on.

Have you used any of the mods and are they easy to install if you have ?

I know i get games where i just cant get sprinters. Its easy to win the other races but if i do struggle its with sprinters.

Ye im using kennys flat schedule at the moment. They are very easy to install. If you need any help just let me know.

Not on the mac sorry I was wrong mate.

I will give you a shout when I decide to start a new game, maybe just wait for SO5 i notice he sayd no later than mid 2012 for it.

OK pal. Ye it looks like a long wait before so5 is out. Hopefully that means that there are a lot of new features.

3rd maybe at 10-1 at least the e/w came into play, unlucky mate.

Would have pissed it if it was closer in the first 2/3 furlongs. Finished like a train but was never going to be enough.
