But what has Camelot beat? There was a picture I posted a while back which showed he has beat very little. Good horse yes, world class not in my eyes. Hope you had a good day out though mate.

To be fair, you can only beat the opposition you face, mate.
I just think he trained off a bit,and obviously running on a bog didn't help,as he's very much a top of the ground horse, and this was just one race too many after the Leger.
Brilliant day out in Paris - loads of Brits and Irish there,so good craic, although today's racing is a bit of a comedown!
Me and a few mates thinking about it next year. Did you stay down there? How expensive is it? Looks like a top day out. Can't wait till Cheltenham now and it's bloody ages away!!

Flew AirFrance from Manchester on their economy,(voyageur),flight for £130 return.
It's only about an hour and a half, and you're there.
You can get cheaper flights from Miseryside, but that means driving to Dipperpool, and your car will probably be on blocks when you get back.
Prices pretty much the same as any meeting over here for beer and grub - it's a great day out.
Looking forwards to Cheltenham as always too - hope to take in the whole meeting this year,if I can buy a spare liver on e-bay first.

They tested Camelot over every distance and ground this season. You have to take your hat off to Coolmore for testing this horse in that way. Look how long it took for Frankel to move up in distance and compare that to Camelot they took the risks but it didnt work out. Next season Camelot could well go unbeaten next year as they wont test him as much as they did this season.

I dont know mate. O Brien has trained some wonder horses but this season the ground has been the worst ground for years. It would be so unlike O Brien to big up a horse as much when you see the horses before him that he has trained from George Washington , Yeats , Galileo , Rock Of Gibraltor , High Chaparral and Rip Van Winkle he really must think a hell of a lot of this horse. Even yesterday the horse lost a shoe and got cut in the race in running. I wouldnt mind seeing it run on its ideal ground all the time but this is horse racing and its great to see horses being tested to there limits.

Sizzler 3.20 Windsor.

Thank me later.

Ivanhoe the danger

Not a race that will take much winning - I'll go for Hello Sailor e/w at 13/2.

Beckett's second string on jockey bookings. He has a lot of decent two year olds, i have followed him for the past few seasons now and you always get some decent priced winners, he has the best strike rate in the country for second time out winners.
