Daily Horse Racing \ Tipping thread

Quiet on here these days.

Might start daily updates of Collateral Damage's grass eating in his field.

Anyway....

Sprinter Sacre 11/10 in places to win on Saturday.

A ridiculous price if he has even 50% of his ability.

Basically betting on him to get round.

dodging Bullets has been backed after winning the tingle creek at Sandown and sprinter sacre has only been
declared for the race whilst connections weather watch so is not guaranteed to run.

Oh well you pays your money and you take the chance - anti post bet down the grid.

Fetlock injury rules Glance out of Guineas

BY DAVID BAXTER 3:20PM 16 JAN 2015

ROGER VARIAN has been dealt a big blow before the 2015 Flat turf season has even begun with the news his Qipco 1,000 Guineas contender Cursory Glance will miss the Newmarket Classic through injury.

Varian claimed his first British Classic last season when Kingston Hill won the Ladbrokes St Leger, but he will now have to potentially wait until Royal Ascot to get Cursory Glance back on track.

The filly, who won the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes on her final juvenile start last September, was the general 6-1 second favourite for the 1,000 Guineas behind Found.

Varian told his website: "Unfortunately Cursory Glance has sustained a fetlock injury during routine training. She will need time to recover which will rule her out of the 1,000 Guineas.

"The prognosis for a full recovery is excellent. The prospect of having her ready for the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot is very realistic and that will now be the plan."

Any decent anti post interests stashed away? Im all over ol man river for the derby and dynaste at fancy odds for the gold cup.

Little hesitant at posting this as the last time I did he pulled up, but I own a small share in the racehorse Brunello who runs today in the 2.45 at Musselbrough.

He won last time out at a decent price 12/1 and steps up in class today. For some reason he has drifted like a barge this morning and is out to 7/1 which I think is great each way value. Nothing negative from the yard to suggest why he should be drifting, a few others look like they have come in for some support. Claimer takes 3lb off his back and he is as fit as he has ever been.

Problem with him is he can be mard and a lot of it is in his head. Should he take to it again today, then he should go very very close.

Untill the race starts nobody knows what mood he is in, so don't go mental, but I think at his current price he is worth a nibble.

No Cheltenham tipster s out there its only a few weeks away.

The New One will regain his Champ hurdle crown, bloody unlucky last year and nearly made it back up at the end.

Coneygree RSA chase, backed it on Saturday and it was very impressive, looks like he will relish the hill.

Silviniaco Conti Gold Cup, heart rules head I want him to win it, not much of a tip that though lol
