To be fair on me..I wouldn't know that as that was the first time I've seen both channel's news for years.
Although...the lead story with the BBC was just bollocks. They probably move the nuclear subs all the time to more strategic positions. Trump just wanted it to be known this time...so the BBC obliged.
 
32k of estates paid IHT mostly because of house values rising -over the same period 666k+ people died -= yes there will sadly be children and people in poorer areas in that figure but far fewer will have died and IHT intervened. Furthermore I would say that this is not a bad tax as wouldn't be a tax on assets people get an increase in value of for doing jack shit. I live on a street where 26 years ago I bought a house for £60k'. A house on our street is just going up for £490k. Sorry but thats wrong. If me and the Mrs die we can pay tax on that increase and the kids will still get a tidy sum.

Just listening to Tom Swarbrick on LBC ( another presenter who isn't/wasn't a Tory - no sirree - no right leanings here please move along ) - he is angry at the number of people taking sick days in the UK reaching record numbers ( maybe its because we have record numbers in work Tom you thick twat ) he is currently on to an ADHD adviser/coach who helps people into work who have ADHD - you'd think that would be welcomed as it gets people into work and off the sick but no, not for our Tom because that work comes at a cost. So he wants people off the sick to go to work to pay taxes and them to be helped to do so for free. Cheeky **** has referred to her as a "sickfluencer" three times.

It’s all for viewer/listener engagement. Say something over the top and it gets them ringing in. Cannot listen to that station when he’s on but see him completely different when he’s on TV news channels where he is more balanced and sometimes contradicts himself from his morning show.

It’s all an act.

I think I did it about 10 years ago, so lets refresh it now we have numerous you tube channels and other social media avenues.

Be honest, its not judging, we all have our favourite media for one reason or another. For instance I buy the Times on a Monday because their sport/football coverage is magnificent

This thread is meant to be about what your favourite media is, where you access the media to form your opinions from. But you turn every thread into your social media rabbit hole feed of everything you can’t stand.

Living in a swirl of negativity can’t be good for your mental health, fella. Unless, of course, all the shit you claim to hate is actually your favourite media and you actually revel in the negativity?

Here’s an idea; this week, why don’t you be positive and post us some good news from your social media rabbit hole.
 
The concrete grower hard man Iron Mike being called out for whats likely the truth. The post was laden with expletives and anti-muslim tropes and was flagged to his employers at Talk TV who doubtless had a word in his shell like (to the effect - delete, apologise or you're sacked) and he did a climb down with a lame excuse
