I don't think they are. Regardless of his contractual situation, he played in he CL semi-final and the final so Juve rated him.Barca you can make a case for it being an error to get rid.
Why are Juve moving him on?

You really think he pushed for a move from first choice at Juventus to be a decent squad option for us ?Having no senior RBs hasn't stopped clubs getting rid before. Look at City.
They'll replace him with a younger model who isn't on his last legs.
Decent squad option for us as I've said.

No idea. But if we're getting a 34 year old with the expectation of him walking into our team and instantly adapting to the pace of PL football as a first choice then I'd have serious concerns about next season.You really think he pushed for a move from first choice at Juventus to be a decent squad option for us ?

You might want to retract this comment.I disagree. He has been caught out plenty of times over the years, one of the reasons top clubs keep moving him on and replacing instead of keeping him around.
Feel like this'll go round in circles tbh so we'll just wait and see what happens next season. I hope he can adapt (and it is more hope than expectation).

No I do think he was good, but I think he's now on the decline and that bringing him in is a risk because he'll struggle to adapt. If we're bringing him in as first choice I think it could potentially end in disaster. He's 34 years old.

We are still in for Walker as well anyway.
