Imagine the Guardian's reaction if we did that
Hmmm no mention of Dirty Oil money in the article.

Yes it’s been acknowledged that the last few windows have been poor. However, he did pretty well the numerous seasons before and the sales from academy and a few others has again allowed us to now be in a position to buy.He needz to as he’s not covered himself in glory last few windows .
Makes sense they always get out of it somehow.
Also I’m glad, Olmo is great but I don’t think what we are looking for.
It's not his size that's the problem it's his injury record. He is great for international football far to lightweight for the PL. Best filed under Dodged Bullet.
That as well true. It's not his size that's the problem it's his injury record.
Not to mention The TelegraphImagine the Guardian's reaction if we did that
Surprise surprise looks like Barca have sorted his registration out. What a joke of a club and how they're getting away with signing players still is a disgrace, but never questioned
A lightweight eh. David Silva say "hello".He is great for international football far to lightweight for the PL. Best filed under Dodged Bullet.
All 3 out of contract summer of 2026. We should tap them up and tell them to run down their contract and we will sign them for free in 2026.We need to be more aggressive in poaching their youth. Gavi, pedri, Yamal - all would thrive at city, especially under pep. Could they realistically turn down £200m for all three?
To be fair, oil does come out of the ground, so technically it is dirty, and it if you sell it, I have no objections to calling it dirty oil money.Hmmm no mention of Dirty Oil money in the article.
This is exactly what ffp should have preventedEvery single piece of Barca being sold off.
What happens when theres nothing left to sell off?
Barcelona wont own any aspect of their own club.
They go tits up and blame City ;)Every single piece of Barca being sold off.

Trouble is we bow to Barca and under pep we would never dare try it in with them as Barca is peps true love .We need to be more aggressive in poaching their youth. Gavi, pedri, Yamal - all would thrive at city, especially under pep. Could they realistically turn down £200m for all three?
They'll bleat on about history, how it's it's not fair with "state owned clubs" around and ask for all of their debts to be waived by La Liga and UEFA.Every single piece of Barca being sold off.

Disagree. 1 defender, 1 DM and a player who can play all across the front positions/AM who is a goal threat (unlike our existing options) and can cover for Haaland. Cunha for me would be ideal…We currently have 2 slots open for new signings, we can make it 3 by removing rodri for the rest of the season, we can make a maximum of 3 amendments to the squad for CL so thats the maximum number of players we can bring in. The priority is a holding midfielder and a minimum of 1 and probably 2 defenders. That's 3 already, next on the list would be a striker, considering we have a grand total of 1 on the books but even that will likely have to wait. We have plenty of players who can be creative, its pretty much dead last on immediate needs.
The lack of creativity stems from the awful tactics not the need to replace players. Kdb is the best there's ever been, foden is the current premier league player of the year, doku is statistically the second best dribbler in the league, savinho was voted 4th best young footballer on the planet. Bobb isn't far off a return now. Plenty.

Isn't that player Oscar Bobb? There is plenty of talk about the lack of minutes mcatee has seen so far and that's despite not having kdb available for most of it, Bobb for all of it, foden missing large parts, amongst others. If we get some of those back and available where's the room for another?Disagree. 1 defender, 1 DM and a player who can play all across the front positions/AM who is a goal threat (unlike our existing options) and can cover for Haaland.
