Everytime I click into this thread his price has gone up. All this for a Defender who most people cant decide whether he is or isn't an improvement on Lescott.

At the same time in other threads we see some of our excellent squad players AJ, Kolorov, De Jong linked with other Clubs for prices you would associate with Poundstretcher.

This Transfer Window is getting on my Plumbs.

To be fair, De Jong only has 1 year left on his contract and Kolarov is wank.

I agree, it wouldn't make him worth 3 million more but it would make it less worth them selling him. Let's face it, they can ask what they want for him and can add that 3 mill if they like. Just as we are perfectly at liberty to fuck it off and chase another target if we don't want to pay that 3 mill.

Remembering that he could potentially leave for nothing in to years time the question will be him confident Liverpool are that 'll re-sign.

Agger holds all the cards here, and if Liverpool want to put too high a price on him it could prove very costly for them.

Obviously it all changes if the player wants to agitate for a move but I'm not sure there are many signs of that happening. As it stands, Liverpool probably don't need or want to sell so they can certainly justify adding any sell on clause money to his asking price imo. For what it's worth, I don't think he is worth anything over 20 million but if we want him enough we will pay it, I suppose.

Doesn't need to agitate for a move. Unless he is prepared to sign a new contract his worth to Liverpool drops by millions every transfer window they don't sell him.

He's got two years left on his contract, I doubt they are going to panic into selling him cheaper than they want to this summer, maybe in January if he won't sign a new contract but I don't get the feeling that will be an issue, personally.

Sky cameras will surely zoom into that tattoo when he will be officially a City player tomorrow. Tomorrow is Friday, right?

I will like to say i'm a scouser to avoid any further confusions

You guys must be confused to see lfc demand £27m for agger but it is justified ,
Basically, if Liverpool sell Agger for
£27m (-£6m initial fee already paid),
Brøndby will receive £3,15m and
Liverpool only £23,85.

liverpool has a clause with brondby to pay 15% of any fees we receive

So i have to say anything less than £25m will be rejected , which i am not sure man city will raise their offer to

wellcome.

this is the most impartial, independent , reliable , expert's site agger's rating

and for those who want to compare to thiago silva ....

Bless, i think you're being serious. Would City sell Lescott for €15m?

Of course not, because his worth to you is far more than that.

City need to pay the premium, this is the market they've established for themselves with their irresponsible overspending the last few years.

3rd highest spenders since the Premiership started, yet never won it.

I know he's a licensed tattooist so either he did that himself or whoever did do it needs to buy a ruler.
