You guys must be confused to see lfc demand £27m for agger but it is justified ,
Basically, if Liverpool sell Agger for
£27m (-£6m initial fee already paid),
Brøndby will receive £3,15m and
Liverpool only £23,85.

liverpool has a clause with brondby to pay 15% of any fees we receive

So i have to say anything less than £25m will be rejected , which i am not sure man city will raise their offer to

wellcome.

and for those who want to compare to thiago silva ....

Bless, i think you're being serious. Would City sell Lescott for €15m?

Of course not, because his worth to you is far more than that.

City need to pay the premium, this is the market they've established for themselves with their irresponsible overspending the last few years.

If a guy supports a club he wont give his all playing against them! And if he loves them enough to get a tat he wont want to beat them its common sense, you dont see ant microsoft employees with an apple rules tat on their fuckin forehead. The guys a pro and when he retires he can get whatever he wants, but when you are still playing and a transfer is only a couple of poor preformances away its a stupid thing to do! The marketing potential of the player drops considerably! My point with dejong is that dont want him to leave but he needs games he is class at breaking up play, good at reading the game and solid in a tackle.

Jon Macken was a United fan, his best game for us was against the rags.

I think you meant to post that his "least worst game was against the rags"

City need to pay the premium, this is the market they've established for themselves with their irresponsible overspending the last few years.

Our 'irresponsible' spending has propelled us from mid-table to Premier League Champions in under four years.

Liverpool's spending has transformed them from a guaranteed Champions League spot to mid-table in under four years.

Thank you for the lesson in microeconomics.

I personally wont rate agger as a £27m player however considerung he's still world class , only 27 , £22m is a fair valuation to which city should agree , but if we have a 15% resale clause with brondby then it will rise to £25m to which city fans may disagree

I will love a 13m + adam johnson deal

Because we did not want to pay top wack for silva we are now paying the price - clubs are wanting top fees for average players. Believe me agger is no better than lescott and like RVP probably hasn't played many full seasons due to injury.

Looks like agger wants to stay at Liverpool (his perogative) so what next before we know it we'll be looking at players no better than our current back-up Kolo.

We need to scout and find the best young player coming through as our backup - as we did for Savic but hopefully the scouts will have more joy as he's definately not ready yet.

I dont think city themselves inflate all the fees that clubs pay these days , chelsea and united have been doing it for a lot earlier and we , liverpool , also are responsible by overpaying for most of our last summers buy

Why should we have to pay your resale clause. He's not a £3m better player because of a clause inserted when he joined Liverpool.
