To be fair, this Danilo was originally a central midfielder as well, but I don't recall him playing much there at PortoIs this a joke?
In case it's not, the Danilo we're signing is Brazilian, plays RB for Real Madrid. The Danilo you're thinking of, Danilo Pereira plays for Porto in midfield.
And Fabinho has played about 1 1/2 seasons in midfield.
And exactly how does signing a right back mean we won't sign our main left back target. If it's to do with the home grown quota I'm sure there will be many players we'd give the boot two before giving up on mendy because of the quota.
Ok no Sanchez then? I was under the impression we could only fit 2 more foreigners?
Bookies are wrong all the time but we're now 1/5 to get him. (Also out to 3/1 on Sanchez)
Kolarov? Otamendi? I can't tell you at the moment but I'm sure we would find a way to make roomYeah home grown quota pal. See above. Who would go? Someone put a list up yesterday and I might be wrong but thought there were only two spots left?

Id hazard a guess he replaces the mystery CB we were due to sign.So no Mendy (if true).
Wow if true it is out of the blue.
I don't know how these things really work but I'd imagine he'd take the spot we were going to give to Alves.
I can't speak to how often he played there in Brazil but I remember both him and Alex Sandro were signed as midfielders, then converted into arguably the best fullback combination on EuropeHe wasn't originally, he played there occasionally in Brazil.
How old is this kid and is he any good? ta
