I mean our team have plenty of options in the right side and do we in need anymore of a right foot midfield while we are losing our only natural left winger to the rival?

Yes, Hughes may want this deal but do you think to replace speedy left winger with slow right foot midfielder is making the squad more balance wise?

Bentley can play on either flank.

Speedy is questionable now. I don't rate petrov that highly anymore. He doesnt want to be here, all he offers is motoring down the wing with his head down and often whips a cross into an empty space without waiting for support. He was a good player for us but one that has made it clear he doenst want to fight for his place. Bellamy has played on the left, Robbie can play there better than Petrov and we still have Spanish Gaz.

I think he'd be a decent buy and will improve the quality of the squad. Although mainly right footed can play with either (see goal in mid week v Doncaster) and would provide excellent crosses for Ade or RSC.

I predict he will not come. There's less than four hours for it to happen now in which time he'd need to travel down, agree terms, have a medical and sign on the dotted line then have the papers sent to the F.A registering him as our player.

For me yet another reason why MH is not the right man for this job. He's preparing to let go a perfectly good player for a scum bag not good enough for spurs.
