Pah, what does he know? Doesn't he realise the resident Bluemoon experts say his days are numbered? Doesn't he realise Silva is yesterday's man since we bought DeBruyne? Did he not read the memo that Silva isn't a Guardiola type player? Did he not take in to account "how long we have to put up with" his sub standard performances?!

Hahaha! Genuine belly laughs at some of the shit that has been spoken about Silva over the last 18 months. There's 3 or 4 posters who should be pretty embarrassed with themselves.

Quite simply the best player ever to play for the club. For me, the most intelligent player ever to play in the Premier League. The best I've seen at dictating games in this league. Ronaldo and Henry were perhaps better individual talents, but Silva's is the best I've seen in the PL at what he does.

I agree. When I recently called one of them out by quoting his post he called me " a sad little man." Unfortunately because they watch a fair amount of football they think that they understand it.
He had said " Silva was Shite" So I thought I had to give him an airing.

Looking at him, you'd think he was delicate and, almost, timid due to his build. Wrong. He doesn't mind getting stuck in, and he picks up his ration of yellow cards each season.

Fine looking woman actually, hope the usuals manage to keep it respectful and clean for Dave's sake haha.

She doesn't look old enough to be his mum. She clearly but you know what I mean.

One of my favourite things from our football this season is seeing Silva being given the ball when facing the opposition goal. During the majority of the previous two seasons our play was so slow that he was being given the ball with his back to goal and a defender on top of him.

Certainly my POTY of the year so far.

Absolutely amazing how tough he is, the lad gets the shit kicked out of his ankles every game without fail and not only takes it but flourishes while doing so.

Special, special talent, we are blessed to have him.

The difference between halfway through Pellegrini's first season in charge and 12 months after that is incredible. Watching the videos it's like we suddenly decided to start feeding the players sedatives before games in that season. Think it says a lot about how uninspiring Pellegrini's coaching was and how the players themselves weren't self motivated enough to play with the same intensity they had the previous season.

Spot on about Silva playing facing the opposition goal. Loads of people on Bluemoon called it last summer that Pep would use him in a deeper role but for the life of me I couldn't see it. Whether it was the dodgy ankle thing or just the fact I didn't think he had the stomach to play in a position which carries so much defensive responsibility. He's proved me wrong and made me look a chump and to be honest it's one of those rare instances where I couldn't be happier that's happened.

I think Raz is player of the year/season so far but then i'm biased on that front. :)

Ran the furthest of any player on the pitch on sunday. He's turned into a complete workhorse in midfield

Personally, I wasn't so sure he could perform so well playing so deep. I knew he had the intelligence and ability to do it. He also has the stomach for the fight. However, I thought he would struggle physically.

IMO, he looks more comfortable and natural playing in that role than De Bruyne and Gundogan - players who most expect would be better in that role. It just shows how good a footballer he is as Gundogan and De Bruyne are undoubtedly fine footballers.

I never feel more confident that something good will happen than when I see Silva running forward with the ball in the middle of the pitch in space. It's pretty much a sure thing a good chance will be created.

As for Sterling for POTY, a good choice. Let's just say Silva by a head. That's the nearest I'll ever come to a compromise. :)

Sterling has been great at times this season but I think for overall consistency Silva is edging it for me as well.

I think Sterling, Silva, Kolarov in that order. Sané, Aguero and Touré not played enough to be considered.
