Miami weather/lifestyle is more suitable for what is effectively his retirement. Enjoy it David, you’ve earned it.Rumors are he is heading over here. But not to NY FC :(

We didn't need a high press yesterday. We had 72% possession. We didn't draw the game because of a failure on any player's part to press the ball. We had the ball! That’s the entire point though. Our team needs the high press to function properly. So if David can’t do it any more, as you correctly state, then he should never be in contention for a starting spot. And I mean never. He should only come of the bench late when the situation requires him.
Sorry but you couldn’t be more wrong. We need a high press every game without fail. The high press enables us to create better chances, it allows us to choke teams and prevent them countering. It directly improves both our attack and our defence. We didn't need a high press yesterday. We had 72% possession. We didn't draw the game because of a failure on any player's part to press the ball. Some of you do not understand the game.
We didn't create enough clear cut chances against a team that defended deep with a narrow 2 banks of 4 making City go wide.
Put it another way then...the press was good enough yesterday because we had 72% of the time. Their keeper must have had 10% of their 28%! It was what we did or didn't do with that 72% that was the problem.Sorry but you couldn’t be more wrong. We need a high press every game without fail. As you said, some people just don’t understand the game.
Yep - although 4 shots on target out of 24 attempts is perhaps where the problem lies.We didn't need a high press yesterday. We had 72% possession. We didn't draw the game because of a failure on any player's part to press the ball. We had the ball!

Definitely. Very frustrating.Yep - although 4 shots on target out of 24 attempts is perhaps where the problem lies.
A press is never good enough. Most goals come from turnovers in play regardless of possesion stats.Put it another way then...the press was good enough yesterday because we had 72% of the time. Palace were encamped in their half bar 5 or 6? breaks over 90 plus minutes of a football match.
When the other team have little of the ball you don't get turnovers.A press is never good enough. Most goals come from turnovers in play regardless of possesion stats.
